Tallow is Low-Comedogenic (wont clog pores)
Tallow has a comedogenic rating of 1-2 on a scale of 0-5, meaning it is unlikely to clog pores. Though we still HIGHLY recommend doing a patch test first before applying any tallow products fully.
Everyones skin is different, some claim Tallow has caused them more breakouts and many others love how Tallow has tamed or even cleared their acne.

When Tallow May Cause Pimples
Although naturally low comedogenic, breakouts may happen if, Tallow is not FULLY rendered/filtered, highly comedogenic oils are added to it, one being coconut oil (rating a high 4 on the comedogenic scale).
Our Tallow is 100% Grass Fed, Fully Rendered and Deodorized making it less likely to cause breakouts or flare ups. We also only include Jojoba Oil which is rated 0-1 on the comedogenic scale making it non comedogenic.
